Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SYNCD (the "Service"), operated by SYNCD Ltd ("SYNCD", "we", "us"). By creating an account, ordering a physical card, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Account & eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use SYNCD. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account and your public profile, and for keeping your credentials confidential.
2. The Service
SYNCD provides digital business-card profiles, NFC + QR physical cards, contact-saving (vCard / wallet pass), team directories, and related tooling. We may add, remove, or change features at any time.
3. Subscriptions & payment
Paid tiers (Solo, Teams, Business) are billed via Stripe in advance, recurring monthly or annually as selected at checkout. You can cancel at any time from your account billing page; the subscription remains active until the end of the paid period.
Refunds: physical cards ordered through SYNCD are made-to-order and non-refundable once printing has started. If a card arrives damaged or defective, contact support within 14 days for a free replacement.
Shipping & international orders: standard shipping within the United Kingdom is included in the listed product price. Orders shipping outside the UK incur an additional shipping & handling surcharge based on destination and weight. Where the destination is outside the UK we will:
1. Confirm the shipping surcharge by email before printing your order; or 2. Invoice the surcharge separately via Stripe at our standard rates (£8 - £24 depending on destination); or 3. Cancel the order and refund in full (minus a £5 processing fee) if shipping is impractical.
International orders may also be subject to import duties, taxes and customs fees levied by the destination country. These are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our pricing.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use SYNCD to:
- impersonate another person or organisation;
- publish unlawful, hateful, fraudulent or sexually explicit content on your public profile;
- attempt to disrupt the Service or scrape data at scale.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
5. Content & ownership
You retain all rights to the personal information, logos and content you upload. You grant SYNCD a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and display that content for the purpose of operating the Service.
6. Termination
You can delete your account from your dashboard or by emailing support. We may terminate or suspend access for material breach of these Terms.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, SYNCD disclaims all warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will post the new effective date at the top and, for material changes, notify you by email or in-app.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
