The SYNCD build log starts here
For the past month I've been heads-down building SYNCD, the digital business card platform for people who shake hands for a living. Today I'm opening the build log.
Why a public log
Most NFC card companies ship a glossy launch and disappear. I'd rather show the work. Every meaningful change, new features, fixes, the occasional embarrassing rollback, lands here at /news. If you're considering SYNCD, you can read exactly how often we push, what we care about, and where we're headed.
What we shipped this week
๐ฃ Feedback widget. Every signed-in profile now has a "Send feedback" button bottom-right. One click, type your idea, hit send. It lands in my inbox and on my admin command centre. I read every single one and reply to as many as I can.
๐ Terms & Privacy live. Linked from the footer + signup.
๐ก 6-layer anti-spam shield. We started getting low-quality pilot signups, so the form now runs through a honeypot, rate-limit, heuristic spam score, disposable-email blocklist, header-injection scrub, and a one-click manual block-list. Quiet, ruthless, and silent, bots never know they were dropped. Real humans never see it.
๐ Apple Wallet live updates. Edit your card; name, title, accent colour, anything, and the pass in everyone's Wallet refreshes within seconds. No re-download. Quietly one of my favourite features.
What's landing next
Storefront refresh. A friendlier shop with clearer specs, better photography, and a couple of new card options. This week.
Founding-member pilot. Fifteen teams onboarded. One cherry wood card, a month free on whichever paid tier we agree fits your setup, and 1-2-1 support.
That's it for now. If you'd like to follow along, the feed lives at /news. If you want a free card and a direct line to me, the pilot waitlist is on the homepage.
